Hi y'all. I had a nasty riding accident on vacation May 4th that left me with a broken right humerus, sprained sacroiliac joint in my pelvis, and a slew of bruises, lacerations, etc. Luckily, it was at the beginning of a 20 mile ride, not midway through, so the ambulance could get to me fairly easily. I have just gotten confirmation today that I have a herniated disk in my neck.  The disk is between C6 and C7 with a midline herniation.  The neurologist says that I shouldn't lift anything heavier than 30 pounds.  This is not something that will get better and the only permanent fix is surgery.  I was really trying not to cry today when I began to ( Read more... )
